HAW - Hochschule fur angewandte wissenschaften hamburg

About us

The Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW) is the second largest university in Hamburg and is one of the seven research-oriented German universities of applied sciences in the UAS7 network.Formerly known as Fachhochschule Hamburg, the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1970.

HAW contributes valuable research in digital storytelling, social media, and public engagement to the NARDIV project through Professor H. Klimpe. As a specialist in political social media communication and an equal opportunity commissioner, Klimpe leads WP6 and supports WP3, WP5, and WP7 by applying media research methodologies and providing insights on gender and diversity issues. Her experience as a social media strategist and her role in developing NARDIV’s dissemination strategy (WP8) further strengthen the project’s outreach and impact on diverse audiences.
